1. Use MWO Downloader to Download the Game Client
Please follow the simple steps below to download MWO client program using the One-Click MWO Downloader.
1.Download the file mwodownloader.exe from Here. Save it on your hard drive. This file is about 287 KB so the download should be really fast.
2.Open and run mwodownloader.exe, and it should bring up the downloader interface. Select Start Download to initiate the download of MWO setup file (2.8G).
3.The download will start out slowly, but will reach very high speed after a few minutes. If for any reason the download is interrupted, just simply re-run the downloader program and it should resume the download process from the place it left off in the previous download.
4. Double click the file downloaded in step 3 to install the file.
For Vista Users: If you install the game to the same disk as your Vista system installed (like in C:, the game install program will seems to be stuck, as Vista will try to preload the whole file before it really starts. So we recommand you install the game into another drive, like d: or e: .
Please keep in mind that the MWO client is a very large file (over 2.5G) and it will take at least a few hours for the download to complete. We appreciate your patience during the download, and strongly suggest that you leave the download running over night. We understand that the download process is a bit tedious, but we think that you are downloading one of the most exciting new-concept MMORPGs and your time spent on the download process will be worthwhile.
