Illuison Angel GuideComment(3)Edit Entry
Before I begin let me give you some basic facts:
1-Illusion angels can cast all skills that have been learned from all the previous class transfers.
2-Illusion angels is a greater investment of time and money compared to most classes.
3-Illusion angels is a hybrid class, therefore should be played by experienced MMO gamers or a player looking for a more difficult gameplay.
Terminology for semi-newer player to MMOs
1-IA: Illusion angel abbreviation
2-Hybrid: Is a MMO term that arguable been around since Ultima Online. As an experienced MMO gamer, hybrid is a class that depends on melee and magic attacks in order to achieve a goal. This means that both melee and magic attack are usually balanced, used, and absolutely no specialty are implemented by the developer. A synonym for hybrid is "Jack of all trades, master of none"
3-Nuke(er): Someone who specializes in 1-hit-quitters. Mana mages are a perfect example of a nuker. By expending a sacrifice, like mana, for a bigger damage than normal. Or someone who specializes in one attribute that leads to a 1-hit quit.
4-Spec: Specialization or Primary character attribute or bonus attribute buil; usually a combination of both..
5- Instance: A special dungeon type map that's only shared among party members. Special items are only obtain in these maps.
6- PvP/PvE: Player vs Player (Pk)/Player vs Environment (killing mobs, bosses, etc)
Before you choose the path of the IA, please ask yourself these questions:
1-Can I handle bouncing and balancing DPS between melee and magic?
2-Can I accept a more difficult gameplay compared to other classes without whining about IA's general role? 3-Am I a type who believes to chop, kick, punch, slash, help, and pray? Or just nuke someone?
4-Do I have more or interest in purchasing platz to enhanced my IA now that lvl 40 reward is no long platz itself? 5-Am I willing to see many advance quickly compared to myself?
6-Am I willing to put the time to learn and specialize in the IA class?
If any of these questions cause a "reasonable doubt", please refrain from choosing this class and my further higher education. If not, read on.....
Introduction of the IA class.
The IA class is acquired when you choose to be a Summoner-> Illusionist->Devil Beastmaster-> Illusion angel. once you complete all 3 class transfers at lvl 65. As stated earlier, you can use all the skills you've learned when transformed. There's 3 transformations that an Illusionist to Illusion Angel learns and please get these Skill Books as quickly as possible, they are the backbone for all Illusionist classes. Furthermore, the maximum amount of Holy damage at character's level 74 and Angel form level 10 is 5,000. I've confirmed this many times with IAs who are of this proficiency.
Chapter 1
Gweapon and Spec preview
The gweapon what an IA should use varies on equipment type, level and occasion but generally you'll use a physical Gweapon until around 74 when you switch to Skill AP weapon. However, the skill ap weapon must be at least +15 for a better returned investment. Also, the skill ap weapon will not be used for boss hunting in RP, Zodiac, and other instances that have been implemented.
Generally speaking, the Skill AP weapon will be used during Player vs Player events and training.
The spec that all IA will aim for is leech on the first 4 rows and Skill Ap on 5th and 6th rows (will be discuess in Chapter 3). Above all, starting at level 74 IA, it comes down to equipment type, level and occasion as follow: A-PvE; B-Instance; C-PvP; D-non-Instance Boss hunting
A- PvE If the mob has crappy elemental resistance like Lizards in Bog, then a Skill AP weapon of at least +15 is recommended. Anything else is Physical Ap gweapon
B- Instance If you're killing bosses in an Instance than use a Physical weapon since MOST bosses have MP rebound which drains your MP pool very quickly upon a melee damage. However, if you have a good tanker that keeps aggro than using +15 or over Skill AP gweaopn can be used so long you're not performing any melee damage.
C- PvP: If you have a great amount of Skill AP and +15 Skill AP gweapon than use it. Otherwise, you will suck even with a physical gweaopn against other endgame classes. Please remember "How so?" in Chapter 2- Illusion Angel skills. Too be effective with a Physical Gweapon please substitute your belt, cloak and vest for armor with HP Rebound that adds to +100 total or more.
D-Bosses Bosses outside of instances will not generally give you any problems so long you have enough leech for the holy damage and Skill AP, but the ones that will be a P.I.T.A needs to be confronted with alot of leech, phy def, good physical Gweapon and hope. Ex: The level 100 bosses during Prison Break: Reloaded event destroy, ate and pooped out the city guards with relatively ease. It took 12 spawns on this guy before it got to 12%, which causes all hell to break loose because of the boss' nuke.
Chapter 2
Illusion angel skills
All skills mentioned are the most important skills for the class from lvl 1-74. The italic words means that the skill is physical ap based and must be added respectivitely to skill min/max and phy ap min/max.
So in other words Skill Max+Phy max; Skill Min+ Phy Max= Total AP.
Skills are not rounded off whatsoever.
Now here is how you do the math, if you lack the basics, of the skills. Your skill AP=14,500. Poison kiss based damage is 1200-1500. Skill Ap*.3=4350 Bonus damage. Poison kiss new Total AP is 5550-5850
All skills mentioned above is Max, which is lvl 3 except for Angel Mirage at lvl 10. Didn't mention the lvl 80 skil because it's complete utter garbage.
Skill can be further improved with Pet Upanisad, however, only skills between 1-45 and it's randomly.
Enhanced attack is a lvl 60 gathering skill. Each gather produces a pink orb that orbits the character to indicate how many times you gathered. Max gathers is 3. In the Basic Skill Tab when you press "S", there's a skill you drag to your NumPad hotkey or Keyboard Pad Function Key 1-12. You gather and then release. It suppose to harvest, at max gather, 1500%HP and 1500% MP leech from damage....which it does not. This is causes stun while botting because of your low range...what does that mean? You will not do any phy attacks or screen doesn't display phy attacks, so you will be stuck only casting skills and dying. Wonderful, isn't it?

Still in the works so it can be more logically sound and room for improvements upon oneself
Ciao, Shigo BitComet 3
P.S. I'm still Edtting, Fixing, and Adjusting the text, chapters and presentation.... in other words, this guide is not the final version, so please expect major changes in the near future.
And please do not edit because I will delete and repost the previous essay that I've composed. If someone knows how to lock the post only to Author, I'm in BitComet 3 and would love to know. I will be searching this info within this website.
Thanks

Chapter 2
Illusion angel skills
| Skill | Min | Max | Range | Bonus | Description |
| Elem. Cure | 1200 | 1200 | 10 | unknown | Can't figure it out |
| Elem. Whirling blade | 160 | 190 | 8 | =Skill AP*1 | Bonus damage equals Skill AP |
| Resist. Enhanced | 40 | 40 | 6 | None | Pet Upanisad makes it better. All Resistance +40 |
| Adv. Whirling Blade | 700 | 750 | 8 | =Skill AP*1.5 | Multiply 1.5 to Skill AP and add to Min/Max from result |
| Corruption | 10 | Drops a portion resistance of target. Only works on mobs and players. Success rate is +/- Level gap between you and target. | |||
| Whirlwind | 600 | 950 | 3 | =Skill Ap*.4 | Crappy AOE without alot of Skill AP. Range too low |
| Poison Kiss | 1200 | 1500 | 16 | =Skill Ap*.3 | Great skill with or without alot of skill AP. The tick is every 3 seconds for 15 seconds wth 20 second cooldown. Cannot be resisted. Ticks can Crit. |
| Deep Dizzy | 600 | 700 | 6 | =Phy AP | Stuns for 4 seconds. |
| Enhanced Attack | 200 | 350 | 2 | =Phy Ap | Thanks to lack of programming skills by developer, this skill doesn't work properly with bot and the description is lying. Furthermore, it has a fix variable. Instructions below |
| Angel Mirage | 5000 | 5000 | Trans- forma- tion | Holy damage | This skill varies from other MWO regions. Suppose to be higher, but devs only gave 5k more only damage and a "huge" def incease of 300 =/ It's been nerfed many times. Gives 500 holy damage every level of the skill. Max's lvl 10 |
| Angel Light | 1200 | 6 | passive | SkillAp/Crit bonus | Suppose to be 600/1200/2000 Skill AP increase. It's actually 600/600/1200. Skill Crit was nerfed from 3/6/10 to 3/6/6. |
