A connection with server could not be established

connection, established, server, not
Keep getting "A connection with server could not be established" come up when trying to connect. Have game running on different computer fine. Was working on this computer previously. Running XP. DSL connection, ISP beagle internet, located in Kalgoorlie, WA, Australia.
