Advanced Guide for leveling living skills (not include alchemy)
This tutorial is based on an articale from Chinese MWO website and my onw experience. Since all my characters are in Dynasty, my explaination will be all based on the situations in Dynasty.
I started to level living skills last week and now i got lv5 mining, lv8 craftman, lv5blacksmith and lv5 tailor. i only play at night when i have time but bot all the time during day time.
This guide is about leveling mining, craftman, blacksmith and tailor skills. These skills are related, you better do all four togather to lower the cost and reduce the time consumed.
First of all, you better have 2 characters, and about 3mil gold in your pocket. One of them is better a 40+ warrior(temper is better) or summor to do mining, because you need to get lv4,5 ore at mines where mobs will attack you.
First step is leveling mining skill for both of your character at lv1 and lv2 mines in the map where your born village is located. Or you can leave your 40+ character (i will call it blacksmith later) in mine and level your other character(i will call it tailor later) at sky city to get Flax and leather to level tailor skill.

Next goal is to get 50 lv8 (flammable) stones to be craftman lv2. You can either buy it from other players if your are rich ( they are about 10k/each in Dynasty) or collect them by yourself. i perfer D.I.Y. You can get it in 2 ways. Your tailor is leveling in skycity where you got a lot chance to get lv8 stones. My tailor was botting overnight there and gave me about 5 to 10 stones per night.
Another way is to decomposing low level gears. Now it's time to use those flax and soft leathers and lv1 and lv2 ores your collect. you can level both blacksmith and tailor skills by using those materials. But what kind of gears you should make? Here is the
GOLDEN RULE: ALWAYS STICK TO THE LEAST COST AND MOST EFFECTIVE WAY.
Going through the gear list under either blacksmith or tailor tab, You will see defferent gears need different combinations of raw materials. As far as i remember the best way to begin blacksmith train is to making lv12 gloves cost 1:6 lv2:lv1 ore. For tailor,it's 1:3 Flax:leather or leather:Flax (i dont remember which gear, but it's easy for you to figure out). This ratio seems fixed even for high level training but different gears and raw materials.
Decomposing all the gears you got not only can provide 50 lv8 stones but supply normal magic powders for level craftman skills after you get craftman lv2. So just keep them. Since in these days those rich and lazy kids dont want to waste time in decomposing gears, no one is selling those powders .
