We are glad to announce that a new server named “Odyssey” will be launched on 0:01 am PDT Oct. 31, 2008. Welcome all the old and new players to the new server and start your new adventure in MWO!

We will hold a lot of exciting events when the new server opens such as Double Experience, Double Drop Rate and many other interesting events. Please keep checking our website for more news.

You guys are funny. You do know that we don't have that many new faces in Daedalus Server (the former new server) so what is this new server going to accomplish?

You want people from different server to transfer here and buy plats again?? LOL moronic really

Now we gonna have four servers, that would make other server dead because the amount of new people joining those servers will be lessen. Are you guys really this out of touch? Do you even know whats going on with the other servers?

Now i'm starting to believe you guys are just here temporarily and would just drop everything once you profit enough.

Hmm.. I think I'm going to stay on Daedalus Server. Mainly because I love that server. Though I haven't been on it for very long. I have encountered a great group of players. I have brought four of my Conquer2.0 friends with me to play this game. I don't think any of us are ready to start up on a new server. Especially when we just came to Daedalus not even a week ago.

P.S. I am Goddess on the server for those who don't know.

Opening new server wont fix financial problems permanently! By doing this u may get more money for some time , but then ... u will be making alot less money than before(From 3 servers).

Well.. i can't really say much about this that hasn't been said already but,

Wouldn't it be a better idea to focus your attentions on the lowest populated server instead of adding another server and splitting the people from the other servers onto it. For example adding Double Drop Rate or Exp or both on Daedalus only, now that would make people play there

Hey,why dont you keep adding Server after Server untill the older Servers population really dies out?

I try my best to be not unrespectfull, but i must confess that i really dislike the idea of a new server.

Could we please have a reason for this new Server?

It cant be that the other Servers are to crowded...(giant "lol" at this point)

And it cant be that ridiculous poll some weeks ago where each option first ended with "merge this and that AND open a new Server".... untill nearly everyone made their vote and finally that "dont merge and dont open a new Server" option magically appeared.

Oh and the reason to attract new players that will stay...there you should first delete some bugs before you focus on a new server...else this new server will be dead in the higher lvls too.
And how might this end?In another new server?

Wow, I really like new servers AND merging them!

How about we "preventively" merge this new server with all three currently existing servers! That way we get the benefits of both!

Gonna start another server full of the same problems all 3 of the existing (dying) server's have... makes no sence....

i have spent quite a bit of money on daedalus, and its really gonna suck when everyone leaves to play the NEW server, and all the new ppl joining, goto the NEW server... so what... the old server's are just gonna die? along with all my money i invested into the game...?

i was starting to get happy with the way you GM's and develepers were doing things... but now... i just donno...

only think i can think of is that Your point of this new server is to pull in more money and let it die to start YET ANOTHER NEW SERVER?.... pretty funny little set up you guys got going on.

Also, the game's only in beta! how many server's do u need for a beta game?lol and there are what? barley 100 players in total on daedalus. give or take 20 player's. lol and Daedalus is the NEW server.

Plus there arent even enough GM's to run the current 3 server's we have already. I sure hope you plan on getting new GM's to help run this server.... Some games i play have more gm's per server then the Ingle Company has running ALL of there game's, lol. specially since most of the gm's are the same ppl with different name. (lol yeah u really think were that dumb?)

also if this is your way of making it so that you can Merge the 3 current server's, that's bullshit! how about u focus on trying to make the game a better game by fixing bug's (like the portals that EVERYONE'S player's get stuck at, that's been happening since the beginning of the game).

I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER PENNY ON THIS GAME UNTIL I SEE THINGS ARE BEING DONE RIGHT!

right now as is, i feel like i have waisted the money i spent on this game, because as i see it now either 1 of 2 things are gonna happen. first is the server will die and there goes all the time and money i spent, or second is the server will be merged'd with the previous 2 server's and which case that is not what i spent my money on. and that would make me very unhappy.

And The last thing i have to say is, i will be playing on the new server. and im gonna teach EVERY newb in the game how to play the game WITHOUT spending plats on the game. IT can be done, and very easily. I for one will not spend a dime on the new server, and i wont spend a dime on Daedalus if a new server is created. there are already a GROUP of us that have these same plans, goto the new server and teach everyone how to play without spending plats. And as ALL of us are veteran player's, this can be achieved very easily. in fact, this whole new server idea has PISSED OFF several of the Veteran player's that have spent quite a bit of money on this game.

The last thread of string holding us to this game is getting ready to break, and you guy's are PULLING OUT THE SCISSOR'S!!!

Several post have been make of problems we would like to see fixed, and instead of fixing them, your opening new server's, trying to merge server's, adding new content into the game, AND NOT FIXING THE PROBLEMS...

But whatever, you guys will prolly do what you wanna do no matter what we as player's (the one's paying the bills) think.

Now I would love to see this Game. I'm not able to buy plats at this time. I would really love to see how it is done. I've been a GM on Eudemons and Conquer private servers. Still am actually. We work on the problems as we can. None of the servers have even thought of adding more servers yet because we're busy trying to fix the bugs for the players.

thats how it should be, fix bugs and problems, then add server's and and stuff. i have made a few games before, and have worked on other games with other ppl, and i have offered my help, but they dont seem to want any help. but at the same time, they dont wanna fix the bugs... or cant fix the bugs... either way, the game's still FULL of bugs

How can they expect the game to get any better by adding a new server? I mean Daedalus is still new from what I'm hearing. It's the only server I'm playing on so I don't know. Myself still being new to t he game have come across one bug which I've reported already. Instead of adding a new server what should be happening is finding a way to promote the other servers first. Let them grow with new players before adding another server. I've brought 4 others onto Daedalus with me. I have a vent that a lot of my friends go on and we talk about the server all the time and try to get those who are not on it yet to come and join us. I mean seriously.... adding a new server isn't really going to help. It's gonna cause the other 3 to die since it's still in Beta. If they really want promotions for the game I can do that. I've promoted every server and game I've played. Including my own rp chat room that's on a chat site. I'm also seriously thinking about talking with Saphire and making Destiny it's own forum board for the guild. I promoted Conquer on my Myspace and can do the same for here. I can even place up a link in every forum I made for the private servers as well. I am good at promoting things if that's what they want. I can get a lot of players to join. But most who will join by following me onto Daedalus will stay where I go.

I have brought maybe 10+ player's into this game. People i know in real life, and people i know over the internet. i promote this game every chance i get.

the problem is most of the ppl that come into this game end up not liking it once they get to level 40+.  Because of the bugs in the game. and the Lack of GM support available. There pretty much is no point in running your bot in this game once u make it to 45+ because your character gets stuck in the exit's to other maps, mainly almond tribe, and the vestige maps. if they cant run there bot without monitoring it to make sure it dosent get stuck and die repeatedly and waist all your money, then there is no point to having a bot in the game. and Without the bot in this game, i guarantee over half the population of this game wouldnt stay and play. the bot is what keeps ppl playing. It really is depressing to set your bot, got to work, and come back only to find out your character has no money left and has only gained 1% exp in the past 8+ hours of running. Even tho the character is PLENTY strong enough to level in the places you set it. it gets stuck on its run and quit's working...

Also there really needs to be a GM on in game more. players do not like sending in tickets or posting on the forums when they have a problem. they'd rather go play another game that DOES have GM's on for more then 1-2 hours a day. i have played this since the beginning of Daedalus, and i have only noticed GM's being on in game about 1-3 hours at the most during the day. and there are even some time's when DAYS go by and no gm's are ever on. maybe you guys should look into getting a extra gm or two that can be on more frequently, it'd really help the game.

and btw, sorry about my previous post, i had just got off of work, and was very irritated to see that there was gonna be a new server release... it just felt like you guys were giving up on the server i play on...
