First off: DO NOT link me to the current "guide" for growing weapon. It is very very non-noob friendly. And does NOT answer the first questions a noob will have.
My main question is how do I know what my weapon will turn into? Example: Do I need to feed it a lvl 22 staff to turn it from a current lvl 18 staff to a 22 staff? Or what? I mean...or does it work like: To have lvl 22 growing weapon you have to use a growing stone again on a weapon that is lvl 22 and giving it weapons only makes it absorb to become a better lvl 22???
um...does it matter what weapon you feed it to grow? And can someone please explain what other than weapons you put in the slot and what each other thing does.
If you first feeded your gweapon a lvl 18 staff, got 100% xp and feed a lvl 22 staff next it will be lvl 22 staff +1.
If next staff that you would like to combine with the current grow weapon you have is lets say lvl 32, the new staff will be lvl 32 staff +2 and it WILL have the stats (like +1% fire dmg or +4 Hit) of the lvl 32 staff, not the stats of the old staff.
Also the other slots are for:
Blessing crystals (used after +4 to increase success rate)
Blacksmiths Heart to keep the lvl, dmg and added magic attack of the old weapon
And Craftmans Heart to keep the stats of the old weapon but not dmg and lvl requirement

So it is a very bad idea to have like a lvl 18 staff, upgrade it to +1, then +2, then +3 right? Because when you get a lvl 22 staff you have to upgrade it to +4 and it becomes very very hard?
But the ...
the growing weapon has 3 burn points and each fail takes one burn point, if burn points drop to 0 the soul is gone yea.
I wouldn't say very hard but you are on the right track with that
And to tiger you must get 100% xp to your staff then do the same thing you did first time except that you put the lvl 18 staff with the soul in it at the bottom.
