FA's are great for new players to get started in the game. They have all kinds of advantages to make getting started easy, just like any newbie class char should have. I dont really see anyone saying they are bad, just bouncing around the fact that a player that can only do well as a FA and not with any other class is still kinda noob, lol. It is the same on most other games too with one class being intended to have just enough advantages to get new players hooked in the hopes they will sell the sisters in the black market so they can buy more mall items.
