Hi everybody,
Subject link is here: http://mwo.enjoymmo.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=2363&page=1&extra=page%3D1#pid14244

please post and write about your ideas and anything MWO helping out the guide. Please post here, and only here to focus all the ideas for review and updates.

Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for those that will help   to build this guide.

As time goes on I will edit the guide, and this post will serve to feed it with the informations required to become a better and more complete guide.

N.B. If you see any grammar, spelling, inaccurate information or else please report it here. Also, if possible look at the pros and cons describing the topics to talk about for this thread, and the link above that sends you to our MWO guide.

Thank you.

Let's begin!

Best regards to our community,

Cool, a thread with 76 fill-posts and zero content.
I wonder if it will ever be filled?

Keep in mind that wiki posts are rewarded with Platinum, so people will most likely post whatever they know on their own in the wiki, instead of helping you.
So I hope you would be able to finish it on your own, if push comes to shove.

Anyway, not a bad idea, since there is no official manual for MWO.

Ban graphics.
So many of the so called guides have screen captures that mean nothing.

They also have to start from 101 stuff and wor their way up.

don't forget the framework outline first.
I'll look at the graphics, and all that stuff. I believe a game must be colorful and cheerful so does the guide. I want it to be useful and easy to read. That's what my goal will be during this week to first form the framework.

I'll work on the framework more and more as time goes on. For now it's a melting pot of general guidelines and ideas for day one. Concerning the order of the sections the stuff will be there. I'm writting the  index first, and then i can copy-paste anything already posted directly into another to move things around.

So if you see the order being out of the line which is written at 6am then you can tell me i'll look at it right when i wake up this afternoon ;p!

Edit: I would like to add that I will gather all available information, and request permissions for all guidance. I'm not god, i did and I play all classes but not an expert know-it-all. I have to find the ressources and ask around sometimes but i prefer first hand knowledge that I know about by experiencing it of course.

The guide is created to help everybody, and answer most the questions out there. It outlines MWO knowledge from basics to advanced. I will get much deeper into it starting today. The fact is that it takes time to write a good text in proper english. Editing and correcting the text takes time but I don't mind!

I've started so I'll finish it.

Took me a few hours just to reserve the posting space, and prepare the sections. 15 seconds delay between posts sure prevented copy-paste.

Anyway please add game knowledge here, and suggestions. Anything I can improve once it's updated and filled will more content will very be cool to do.

MWO Magic World Online english guide.
Special note: Please don't mind the memo they are temporary notes for the authors. They will be removed everytime a section is completed.

Welcome to Magic World Online

MWO Magic World Online is a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game where players can meet thousands of others! A world filled with magic and mystery from ancient times where devils walk among men and the light shines bright only for a few faithful souls.  Magic World Online is a new concept fantasy-themed MMORPG that takes place in a persistent magical world that combines characters actions and progression with social interaction and actual role-playing. By using the title Magic World Online, we primarily wanted to convey a sense of identity recognition, namely fantasy MMORPG, to people who come across this game.

Our story began a very long time ago when Lucifer, the King of Devils, led his frightening Death Legions out of Hell to attack the Magic Continent and its human race, which was celebrating the annual harvest festival on the site of its origin, the Golden Plain. Odin, the King of Gods, reacted without hesitation by sending his Super Corps to save the beleaguered victims. However good were his intentions, his quick decision led them to dire consequences. His forces, which soon proved no match for their foes, were soundly routed. The fiends then advanced to storm the Gods’ stronghold, Frozen Mountain. The situation there rapidly grew desperate until Odin was left with but a single option. To prevent the fall of the entire universe, he made the ultimate sacrifice, fusing himself with a magical blade, the Dominant Sword, thereby sealing the border between the two realms.

The seal would last for many centuries before it was unintentionally undone. In the meantime, the humans split into two factions, the Dynasty and the Empire. Centered in the magic continent north and south respectively, they also grew apart culturally. Eventually, the former discovered a rare magic crystal mine, which it was unwilling to share, it furnished the spark that ignited open the hostilities. Then, the discovery of the Dominant Sword allowed the devils to return.

Magic World Online takes on this chaotic scenario, giving players on the two sides the opportunity to fight each other or their common foe.

Any opinions on this update will be appreciated, thank you. I'd like to know if it is easy to read and understand. If there is anything not accurate and missing please let me know.

Best regards,

WOW...Kudos for taking on such a huge task. I found the Growing Weapon update simple to understand and informative. Unfortunately being relatively new to the game I can't offer much in the way of help but I look forward to reading the completed Guide.

Thank you, moving on to the next topic section to update =p!

Expect long editing of the texts, I'm a perfectionist, and I won't stop until satisfied. I'm also a gamer at heart too, after all. So, I want people to understand what's talked about, and the infos the guide gives out

Everything will unfold when time comes...
9.0 Introduction to the first stage growing weapons.

Tips and common knowledge before we start:
- They can be acquired at level 20 by completing the quest for your character.
- Growing weapons can be leveled up from +1==>+20.
- Beginning the growth of a weapon is done by synthesising it with a weapon's soul that evolves and gives an increased benefit to the weapon's owner while the weapon is equipped, and as it reaches a higher weapon level.
- You can find a Blacksmith's Heart and a Craftman's Heart on any monsters. They are rare, and used during the upgrading process of your weapon.
- You can find technologic stones on any monsters. They are semi-rare, and required at a certain stage to synthesise your weapon. It's an item important for all players.
- Once your growing weapon reaches level +7 you can choose to continue the growth of the weapon's soul up to level +20 as a first stage weapon or to evolve it to the next stage into an advanced growing weapon right away. Conditions must be met for the upgrade, see the advanced sections for more details to guide you with your choice.

Special Note: More informations about the advanced growing weapons later, so read on...

1. Place your growing weapon in this slot.
2. Put a sacrificial weapon here. The item will be fed to your growing weapon to make it evolve, and your upgraded growing weapon's attributes will change or stay the same depending on the stones that you have used in the upgrading process. It helps to determine how your weapon will evolve.

Note: You can only feed the same class weapons to your growing weapon. Once you have bound a weapon's soul into it only the same weapon type will apply. You will also need to pay some gold the blacksmith NPC for the upgrade cost plus the items required, too.

3. You will need a technologic stone to proceed with the upgrading to +3==>+4… or higher etc.
4. The success rate of a growing weapon upgrade will reduce as the weapon continues to evolve to a higher level.

For example:

Level 1 ==>2 100% 0 technologic stone required to upgrade.
Level 2 ==>3 90%  0 techologic stone required to upgrade.
Level 3 ==>4 70%  1 techologic stone required to upgrade.
Level 4 ==>5 50%  1 techologic stone required to upgrade.
Level 5 ==>6 25%  1 techologic stone required to upgrade.
Level 6 ==>7 15%  2 techologic stone required to upgrade.

- +5 and higher, at this point it will become necessary to use special crystals to increase the success rate of the upgrading process for your growing weapon. They can be bought from the Mall or traded with other players for a high price. To craft higher level crystals you will need a Moonlight Box to combine the Blessed Crystal (S) and Magic Stones into the box.

*The Moonlight Box can be purchased at the grocery store for 2,000 gold pieces per box.

Stones success rate by levels:

Blessed Crystal (S) level 1
Increases success rate by 7% for +3==>+4.
Increases success rate by 5% for +4==>+5.

Blessed Crystal (M) level II
Increases success rate by 10%.

Blessed Crystal (B) level III
Increases success rate by 15%.

Note: It is possible to combine Blessed Crystals and Magic Stones in a Moonlight Box to upgrade the stone's level which will increase the success rate given by each stone.

Combine (3) Blessed crystal (S) + (3) Magic Stones = Blessed Crystal (M) level II [10%]
Combine (3) Blessed Crystal (M) + (5) Magic Stones = Blessed Crystal (B) level III [15%].

5. Place the Blacksmith's Heart or Craftman's Heart here.

6. Place crystals such as Soul Protect Crystal or Burning Point Crystal here.

Miscellaneous stuff:
1.Blacksmith’s heart and Craftman’s heart.

The Blacksmith's Heart: It keeps the level of your growing weapon the same even if u fed it with a weapon higher level than yours.
Example: My growing weapon required level is 12, and I just want to upgrade my weapon to [+2, +3, +4, +5..etc]. I will combine it with a weapon of any level + a Blacksmith's Heart .

The Craftman's Heart: It keeps the growing weapon's atttributes colorized in blue in the growing weapon's tooltip unchanged during an upgrade. It does not take the sacrificial weapon's attributes after the upgrade is completed. Therefore, It keeps the attributes it had before.

Example: My growing weapon is level 12 with some awesome attributes, and I would like to preserve its attributes so I will use a Craftman's Heart during the process. Ex: Wind damage +12, Physical damage converted into hp 36%.

Note: You can use only one of the two hearts at a time when you are trying to upgrade your weapon at blacksmith NPC. They must be placed into the slot number 5.

2.0 Important warning:  Life burning points are very important for your growing weapon. Even if it fails to upgrade, your weapon will be returned safely in your inventory as long as there are life burning points remaining. The crystals and the other materials consumed during the upgrading process will be lost.

If your life burning points are equal to one, and your upgrade fails you will loose your growing weapon. So pay attention to your life burning points.

3.0 You must gain 100% experience for your growing weapon before you can upgrade your growing weapon's level. If you don't max the experience or even if it's 99% you still cannot upgrade it to the next level [+2, +3, +4, +5... etc].

3.1 REMINDER You can not absorb a sword with a bow. It can only absorb weapons of the same class as yours.

Space reserved

Advanced sections coming up later. ^^

Edited again, and moved the index upward a notch so it keeps the articles discussed here in order.

INDEX FINAL UPDATE: I'm ready to update the articles numbers to the corresponding index numbers because they aren't matching right now.

If you guys at MWO don't mind i'll edit it on the forums it's easier to work it out for me. I can open multiple pages and just bring the infos back and forth between tabs. ^^

In the final version I might compile and make a printable version for all MWO players.

Please, if you have any charts, spread sheets, informations about anything useful related to MWO Magic World Online post it here. I'll look at it and edit it for my guide if i get your permission. ^^

Seeya,

Dakaran.

Legendary items section coming  up for vote and debates, tomorrow!
Everything will unfold when time comes...
this is the most noble things someone can do for the game he love.

keep up the good work!

i am waiting for ur update everyday to learn a few more info on this mass game.

Hello everyone!
HI!

Page 1-3 updated with many things. Legendary items coming up later when i wake up.

Seeyas,

Dakaran.
Everything will unfold when time comes...
Legendary items

(Memo: Oh, really?)

Introduction: Finding and upgrading your legendary items.

Legendary items are special items that give a bonus per item, and a set bonus when three or more items from the set are equipped together. More set bonuses unlock as the number of pieces equipped on the character increases.

Each set is made for a certain class. Starting at level 38, and advancing throughout the levels with the player, legendary items can be upgraded twice. Once upon reaching level 52 using special items, and once more later on with an item from the mall or the Evil Zodiac.

Players can obtain legendary items in-game by killing the legendary guard located in the northen area of the Goblin Tribe map or from the item mall. In both case, you must forge the items required, using a magic anvil or a crystal anvil. Depending on the green mine used, the percentage of success to find a legendary item will greatly vary, the outcome may be in favor of the the player more or less.

Note: Synthesising a Crystal Anvil requires (2) Magic Anvil in a moonlight box
Synthesising a Green Crystal Mine requires (10)Green Metal mine in a moonlight box.
