Again. I'm with katarina. Who has the time to constantly watch there screen when someon random jerk is luring mobs, or pking you cuz he/she didn't like something you said in chat? And some people cant afford the platinum to make their toon strong enough to handle 100+ mobs. I guess I'm a total noob liquid. Cuz I sure can't handle over a certain amount of mobs on my archer with stock non-plat bought gears. But my lvl is too high to try to lvl anywhere else. Magic leveling online. .. What' s wrong with trying to lvl up? Does it get in the way of certain players deciding to make their own rules, and pking other people to control them, or get them to bow to some other's way of thinking? I think the gm's are doing this to look out for the good will of ALL players not just the richest, and most successful.

BTW river. What if someone messed with your freinds because your freind did something wrong, and failed to tell you who was really to blame? Wouldn't you feel like a big jerk after pking them over and over, and then finding out that they were just defending themselves? What you're talking about is in-game vigilantism, and that's just what I"m trying to discourage. That's why the gm's are doing this. We don't need players deciding to be MWO police. Mabye people should try to help eachother more instead of trying to prove who's got the biggest amount of plats. I'm all for what the Gm's did. People should be able to play this game their own way w/o being strongarmed by other players who think the game should be THEIR way.

I would PK ppl from my country all day long if i have too and if they deserve it. what fun in playing a game where everybody is too peaceful and smiley smiley? theres always hello kitty online for ppl who doesnt like violence. why not tell GM to remove PK mode in game also? it is normal for one person to dislike another person in a game.. even if they both are in the same country.

I'm not one for smooching someone's butt, but maliciously screwing over weaker people and taking away what chance they have to succeed, just because you have such an advantage over people? I don't see how that can make someone feel better about themselves. The way I see it is that everyone deserves a chance. If someone doesn't give someone a chance to be some kind of formidable foe who is the one that's really in fear? It's like killing a child before he has the chance to grow up ( just in case he grows up to be stronger than you).  I mean wer'e intelligent human beings that are supposed to be of an even higher intelligence because we are computer literary gamers. Why do some of us try to act like dominant animals on the internet? What do these people have to prove, and what effect can it make to better ourselves or people around us? What happened to rising above? I'm not a very sentimental person. I"m a redneck alcoholic with lots of my own mental issues, but I don't see the point of trying to dominate someone with a freaking pixel character. Does that mean there is something wrong with me?

I have no problem with the pvp factor of this game as I already pointed out more then once. If i did i would go and find another game, thats for sure. And btw i do play Eudemons Online, i discovered the game long before MWO and it is indeed hard core compared to MWO! But even there stalking, slander and harassing is prohibited and the GMS will act on it unlike here. I suggest you read the User Agreement (Members Conduct).
Again, were not talking about "unintentionally" luring mobs, that certainly can happen. The issue here is malicious, intentional mobbing/harassment to stop a player of the same country from lvling for some dubious reasons and i think its high time the GMs finally act on it and put a stop to it. I for one will do everything i can to support their efforts.

We know taking the rules into action cannot be easily accepted by all the players and we will definitel pump into may setback on the way to enforce these rules, but we believe one day the misgiving will chip away and people will finally adapt themselves and accept the rules.

First, i always ask two sides who started who and i don't go pk just by hearing one side. In game vigilantisim and gms being police, no offense, really grannny? you really believe they can police? If someone messed with my friends and its really the fault of the other guy and he is an ass about it, should i just send ticket and ask MWO GM for help? Come now.  My opinion is that i go over wherever he is and deal with the matter. This is my way. People have their own way of dealing with matters but when diplomacy fails i go settle it hard way.

Thats your way of dealing with others granny and i respect that but i deal things differently, if diplomacy fails, my way of dealing with the person and making him respect me is i go make it painful for him. We do things differently and see things differently. This is online role playing game design with "pixelated char can kick your pixelated char's" .

Marla,  i respect the fact that you and other GM's are trying to help. But this rule is both unrealistic and full of holes.

I can cite lots of situations wherein this is near impossible or will take a lot of time to be solved.

Better focus GM time and energy by fixing bugs and giving players creative and fun event than doing this.

becasue they will know , you can pk sometimes, but mobing and kiling for jsut takeing spots and beign jerks , is not allowed  . and being high lvl  dose not  mean being a bully  . but an example to the others.

emps and dyna, there is war time , and places, that is why we have arena and war times.

the other times are for lvling .. and try to be stronger and get more advanced. not being jerks ,

being a high lvl , mean get respect from your behavior, helping , guiding ..  be helpful  you will find many frineds,and meet more , and be loved by everyone ..

it dont mean you should be feared and run and curse your name when we see you..

we have right to play and lvl ,as much as anyone else.. and we pay for plats like everyone else ..

this rule is the first step and not the end . of what improovment this game should have . to reach other games rules..

i am friend with dyna all the week we lvl next to eachother.  in war we kill eachohter, simple .. it is  a game no one get mad there ..

Charbel you made your point very well and I for one I'm glad to get feedback from players like you. I share your view 100% on ALL COUNTS! And even though it may take some time for the GMs to find a reasonable solution to the problems at hand, lets strive to make this a better game for all, Dyna and Empire.

Some of you may call me a whiner, a dreamer and unrealistic but rather a unrealistic whiner and dreamer then a bully and unfair player!

Agreed with RiverFox. Everybody has their way of handling stuffs. That's why we called this a MMORP. The new rule should be better to put it as mobbing is prohibited to "INOCENT ONLY". Imaging how the rest of the players gotto suffer just because of "culprit" (as quoted from Katherina) want to get other innocent player suffer as a blue chip of their peace.

GM will intervene means that gm have to do a thorough investigation if mobbing occur again by listenning to both stories. I have to emphasis here again that nobody here will keep mobbing to that guy so often if that person didnt make him pissed. It's the job of gm to find out the details and make decision on all the mobbing cases.

I have this bad experience after this new rule. What if this player (ign: lucibit) keep botting next to us and pretending afk while he wasnt? (100% sure as can be judged from the bot setting) Should I just logoff for 1/2 days and come back to check if he is still here? I seen him keep botting here. Even few hrs later get even closer. What alternative I can do with this person if mobbing is illegal? At last, i had to get rid of him by mobs after waited for hrs. Guess what? I saw him bot (FA with 130%+ leech) not leeching mobs and want to die so badly just to prove that he died by the mobs. Suddenly I heard that he back to his pc and got a SS of i lured him mobs. This guy is abusing your newly created rule. It's may be time to work on more detailed on this particular rule.

Thank you Carlito, my words exactly. I am not having many problems with high lvl players but low levels because they seem to think just because im a high lvl GS im obligated to help tank for every Tom, Dick and Harry that comes along so they can tame, most of the time without even asking. Some even go so far - thinking I'm afk - and set up booth right on top of me and if i tell them to go away or i refuse to help them they even resort to dragging mobs and then scroll out before they get killed.

Im aware that solving the problem of mobbing/harassing isnt an easy task for the GMs, it will have to be proven via screenshots when ever possible and investigated by the GMs.

short and sweet. got a brokee hand so im pecking.  river, i respect how you approached that reply. if they deserve it then get them by all means. my only concern is when is enough enough? do you really think you can properly redirect people by pking them? i dont know how you word, but they have to do something pretty bad for someone to not give them an opportunity to play although some do deserve a good beatdown. i just dont think people really learn anything from it. as for gms focusing on the bugs im right there with you on that. i think that if this game didnt make us so bitter with all of its bugs wed have better things to do than sit around and pick at eachother

LOL... different people certainly have different ways at handling things. there are the killer types and miss goody two shoes... i dont know.. but my 2 cents worth of opinion is since i dont know the real person hiding behind the miss goody 3 shoes personality.. i dont really give a damn towards them.. far as i know, they could be an ass in real life, so i just prefer to get even with anyone who bothers me here.. its just a game bros/sis... if u dont like getting PKed, like i said earlier.. theres always Hello Kitty Online to play... no need to cry here all the time, as the nature of the game is to kill each other whether its dyna vs dyna/dyna vs empire. thats why the PK option is available to kill your own. theres a reason that small button on the bottom of the screen is there, and im sure the reason is not just to be stared at.. c'mon.. smarten up ppl.. if u dont like to be a ham waiting to be butchered, go get stronger.. mentally in real life and your "pixelated characters" like ol' man River said
