I'm personally looking forward to the new server but due to the previous posts, I'm not too sure the rules will be enforced. I tend to believe that regardless of what rules are in place, there are always those who will be determine to break them or cause unnecessary misery for others, and as mentioned by others if the rules are not enforced by the GM's, then Eden will be no different to the current servers.
I think the first issue I can foresee is the first class transfer at level 15. Think about the amount of people in Magocean in the first few days, now consider how many times someone will ks the final monster quest after searching for it though-out the map. Will that get people banned?...I doubt it. Will it get people frustrated?.... defiantly! Will it cause verbal abuse to the people ks..... Absolutely! The GM's are going to be busy on that map if they wish to enforce the rules.
I have thought of many other scenarios but it seems unfair to nit-pick too much. In essence, I do hope the new server is a more tranquil place and has a degree of harmony and good will between players, but honestly...I'm not convinced. Anyway, as I write this there is three and a half hours till it opens, so lets wait an see. |
