It's prety random I'd say.
So far I got:

Winged Steed (on my archer)
Mambokiwi (on another archer)
Winged Steed (on my summoner, traded for Mambokiwi)
Winged Steed (on my 3rd archer)
Mambokiwi (on my 3rd archer)

btw, you can only un-equip your mount child when it's not hungry.

What I'd like to know is how we're supposed to get the hidden stats without cash shop items.
I've seen some mounts +1 that got their hidden stats already, but some do not.
I keep feeding my pets up to +2, if they won't have their hidden stats by then, I just get new eggs.

Might be a bit confusing with all the mounts I mention, I want to have good stats on them early on. I keep buying new pet eggs when I don't like the stats, selling the old mounts for cheap.

Got four characters, not six, they are a band of freelancers for hire.
Originally I started off with just one archer and got trouble at around lvl 20.
I liked the idea of playing a little party but might drop two of them later.

Four characters is ... average from what I hear, some stick to just one char, other have like up to 20 ..

Does it mean that when my pet is at level 1 to 4 already and the hidden stat still do not show up, it will never have the hidden attribute?

you need Juvenile Clever Potion to figure out Hidden Attribute. you can find  from MWO mall or buy from player, or maybe from lucky hummer.

Coredragon and Goldenphoenix are the only mounts worth raising. The others are crap (well maybe not under lvl 40 lol). In the end its all about the hidden attribute on the mount, thats what will mark the difference depending on the class. Or better said a lame hidden will make it a crap mount even if its a Coredragon
Its like seeing a Core with defence as hidden (nothing but a fancy looking Kodophant lol).
