1. Use  MWO Downloader to Download the Game Client

Please follow the simple steps below to download MWO client program using the One-Click MWO Downloader.
1.Download the file mwodownloader.exe from Here. Save it on your hard drive. This file is about 287 KB so the download should be really fast.

2.Open and run mwodownloader.exe, and it should bring up the downloader interface. Select Start Download to initiate the download of MWO setup file (2.8G).

3.The download will start out slowly, but will reach very high speed after a few minutes. If for any reason the download is interrupted, just simply re-run the downloader program and it should resume the download process from the place it left off in the previous download.
4. Double click the file downloaded in step 3 to install the file.
Please keep in mind that the MWO client is a very large file (over 2.8G) and it will take at least a few hours for the download to complete. We appreciate your patience during the download, and strongly suggest that you leave the download running over night. We understand that the download process is a bit tedious, but we think that you are downloading one of the most exciting new-concept MMORPGs and your time spent on the download process will be worthwhile.

2. Use BT Method to Download the Game Client

If you are familiar with the BT download method, just skip the tutorial and download this Seed File.
Otherwise?please follow the simple steps below to download MWO client program using BitTorrent, the advanced P2P file sharing protocol. (For more information on BitTorrent Protocol, visit www.bittorrent.com)
1. To download using BitTorrent, you need to first download and install a BitTorrent Program, such as BitComet or uTorrent (if you do not have one installed already on your PC, we strongly recommend you to use Bitcomet). You can download BitComet at www.bitcomet.com, or uTorrent at www.utorrent.com. It is strongly recommended that you use Bitcomet version 1.00 or uTorrent version 1.7.7. These programs are published by reputable companies, and should be totally safe.
2. Download the following BT seed file for MWO Client. Save it on your hard drive.
ico_adownBT Seed
3. Run BitComet or Utorrent, and open the seed file in it. The download should start shortly.

4. The download of MWO client will start out slowly, but should reach very high speed after a few minutes. If for any reason the download process is interrupted, just simply resume it in BitComet or uTorrent, and it should continue from the place it left off in the previous download.

Please keep in mind that the MWO client is a very large file (over 2.5G) and it will take at least a few hours for the download to complete. We appreciate your patience during the download, and strongly suggest that you leave the download running over night. 3. Use HTTP/FTP Method to Download the Game Client

Please follow the simple steps below to download MWO client program using FTP.
1. To download using FTP, you must first download and install a download manager program such as Flashget (if you do not have any one installed already on your PC). You can download Flashget at www.flashget.com. It is strongly recommended that you use Flashget version 1.9. Flashget is published by a very reputable company, and the program should be totally safe. You can get up to 5 times the download speed by using Flashget, versus a direct FTP download by Internet Explorer.
2. Download MWO client using one of the following links. Flashget will be brought up automatically to manage the download.

3. If for any reason the download process is interrupted, just simply resume it in Flashget, and it should continue from the place it left off in the previous download.
4. You can increase your FTP download speed by adding additional FTP mirror sites to your current Flashget download.

A. While the download in step 2 is proceeding, click on a different FTP mirror above.

B. A window will pop up in Flashget, asking whether you wish to add this link as an FTP mirror. Sure, click yes!

C. Start the download task in Flashget, and you’ll find your download speed increases!

Please keep in mind that the MWO client is a very large file (over 2.5G) and it will take at least a few hours for the download to complete. We appreciate your patience during the download, and strongly suggest that you leave the download running over night. this game is really easy to download or its very difficult cause if your using an older computer/laptop you have to think outside the box to get it to actually download but if your using a newer computer/laptop such as one made in the past 3 years or so it should be extremely easy to download but on an older one that isnt very updated/upgraded you wont see certain things without moving it around and actually looking for them

sorry im not good at explaining lol but what im trying to get at is the newer the computer/laptop or the more updated/upgraded the computer/laptoip is changes the difficulty of the downloading process

(i have tested this on a laptop made withing the past 3 years and is constantly being updated vs. one that was made in 2000 that has had very little updates)

anyway try to get all the latest updates for your comp if you are having trouble downloading (such as the newest activex, flashplayer, ect…)

i hope this is helpful to someone ^^

Oh yeah… I’ve killed all the night to download this with uTorrent (because downloader didn’t work properly), and the installer doesn’t work, giving Command Prompt line “This program cannot be run in DOS mode”. “Thanks”! Will try one’s more with other game sites…

Please download the client at http://mwo.enjoymmo.com/game-guide/newbie-guide/download-tutorial.html and after the installation, double click the game icon on your desktop or mwo.exe in the game folder to update the client.If you successfully updated the client , you will see that Moonlight is in the serverlist.

Hi!Please keep the downloader open for a while , it’s waiting for more seeds, and maybe you should close your anti-virus software , sometimes it will block the downloader and full scan the file before the downloading is complete.

it is still not working even after following the advise of Ville in comment #61 waited over 20 mins with the downloader open and antivirus off i dont see how it can be lack of seeds as it is the last 50 mb and is hapening to other people on diferent days and its not antivirus as that is turnd off there is somthing wrong with the downloader
