Guide to Level Up for Lv1-60
Posted in: 05-4-2008 by: ben
Lv1-10, mainly relates to Novice Village & Novice Quest
Map: Magocean Village (Dynasty) and Blaze Cliff (Empire)
Monsters: Wild Wasp, Treant, Killer Wasp, Hundred-year Treant, Boar Taro and Boar Jiro
Elite & Boss: Killer Queen Wasp (Elite), Thousand-year Treant (Elite), Crazy Boar Jiro (Elite) and Ichiro, the Boar Captain (Boss)
Monsters Info: All but for the boss are Passive Attackers, dealing physical melee damage.
Related Quest: Accept from NPCs in Novice Village
Related Preparation: N/A
Suggestion on Level Up: On the way to Lv10, beginners shall find it’s mostly a piece of cake to deal with those primary map monsters. Many monsters are delicious oysters in terms of feeding the EXP bar and dropping items when defeated. Besides, the excitement, suspense and coherence from doing quest will also give Novice a general glimpse into the coming adventure in MagicLand.
Lv10-15
Map: Sky City and Sun City (Central City or Main City) the first station away from Novice Village
Monsters: Dire Wolf, Stonesplinter, Hell Wolf, Giant Scree Monster
Elite & Boss: Hell Dire Wolf (Elite), Sandstorm Monster (Elite)
Monsters Info: All are passive attackers, dealing physical melee damage.
Related Quest: Accept from NPCs in main city
Related Preparation: Prepare some elementary potions
Suggestion on Level Up: A good beginning is half done, we intend to make life this way for the main city, the first station away from Novice. Some potions can be used to increase fighting efficiency. Questgivers in main city have considerably raised their quest prize.
Lv16-20
Map: Armed Coast and Hope Oasis
Monsters: Crust Turtle Man, Wandering Siren, Armour Turtle Man and Vampire Siren
Elite & Boss: Armor Turtle Man (Elite), Storm Siren (Elite) and Broken Armor, the Giant Crab (Boss)
Monsters Info: Ranged attackers with additional spell damage, including active attackers.
Related Quest: Accept from NPCs in main city
Related preparation: Prepare some intermediate potions or equivalence
Suggestion on Level Up: In this map, we say goodbye to novice life. After Lv15 class transfer, it becomes a test-field for players to try adapting themselves to changes from class transfer. Monsters grow strong, potions become necessary, and the cute use of skills and fighting strategies starts to arise.
Lv21-25
Map: Skeleton Hole
Monsters: Mean Skeleton, Skeletal Archer, Freezing Skeleton, Skeletal Demon Archer, Skeletal Warrior, Undead Priest, Corrupt Skeleton and Undead Mage
Elite & Boss: Freezing Skeleton (Elite), Skeletal Demon Archer (Elite), Skeletal Berserker (Elite), Undead Mage (Elite) and Skeletal Horrorl, the Death Warrior (Boss)
Monsters Info: Attack types vary
Related Quest: Accept from NPCs in main city
Related Preparation: Bring abundant intermediate potions and a certain amount of advanced potions. Very likely, it’ll not be a luxury.
Suggestion on Level Up: Take care with Skeleton Hole! To get through, you may choose to team up with others. And it may be even more dangerous to solo deep into 3rd floor of the hole. The powerful Skeleton Boss in there is not the kind to sympathize with a weaker life.
Lv 22-30
Map: Shadow Forest and Dragon Vale
Monsters: Giant Mantis, Anthropophagy Flower, Devildom Mantis and Virulent Anthropophagy Flower
Elite & Boss: Crazy Mantis (Elite) and Crazy Anthropophagy Flower (Elite)
Monsters Info: Active attackers, dealing physical and skill damage
Related Quest: Accept from NPCs in main city
Related Preparation: It’ll be good to prepare enough intermediate potions.
Suggestion on Level Up: Practice makes perfect. Experience on this map shall qualify you as a skilled player.
Lv28-34
Map: Hawk Fall and Sky Garden
Monsters: Trogg, Werewolf Warrior, Forking Trogg, Werewolf Ripper, Similodon and Hell Tiger
Elite & Boss: Crazy Trogg (Elite), Werewolf Ripper (Elite), Crazy Hell Tiger (Elite) and William, the Demon Wolf King (Boss)
Monsters Info: In addition to the physical damage, these active attackers also do skill damage.
Related Quest: Accept from NPCs in main city
Related Preparation: Prepare abundant intermediate potions and some certain amount of advanced potions. It’s not a luxury though.
Suggestion on Level Up: Higher level monsters does not always mean higher difficulty to deal with. Compared with Skeleton Hole, monsters here live in a spacious area not being so close to each other. So it is easier to pick them one by one. But if you want to offend Demon Wolf King, you’d better psych yourself up for its one hit kill.
Lv32-36
Map: Alaman Tribe (Goblin Tribe)*the last station before entering neutral regions
Monsters: Flying Ox Guard, Wind Phelios, Fly Ox Berserker, Darkness Phelios (Earth Spirit Ambush, Earth Spirit Archer, Earth Spirit Assassin and Earth Spirit Sniper)
Elite & Boss: Fly Ox Berserker (Elite), Darkness Phelios (Elite) [Earth Spirit Assassin (Elite) and Earth Spirit Sniper (Elite) ]
Monsters Info: Active attackers, having different kinds of attack modes.
Related Quest: Accept from NPCs in main city or Alaman (Gobiln) Tribe
Related Preparation: Prepare a few advanced potions
Suggestion on Level Up: To fight on your own against these more powerful monsters, you need enough potions to back up.
Lv36-40
Map: Beast Camp*neutral regions
Monsters: Ox Warrior, Sprite Mage, Ox Destroyer and Sprite Koradji
Elite & Boss: Ox Header (Elite), Sprite Koradji (Elite), Giant Axe, the Ogre (Boss) and Giant Axe, the Ogre (Boss)
Monsters Info: Active attackers, having different attack modes.
Related Quest: None
Related Preparation: Potions won’t be too many.
Suggestion on Level Up: You are exposed to facing the opposing camp on this map. Upgrade will be easier and safer for team-up players, otherwise the expense on potions as well as potential danger will be great. Of course, if you are strong enough, you can be active in meeting the challenge of PvP. There are two powerful bosses on this map. It’ll be good to team up before getting involved with them.
Lv35-40
Map: Immemorial Tunnel*cave in neutral regions
Monsters: Ruin Ratman, Armour Scorpion, Statuary Ghost, Abysm Ratman, Virulent Scorpion and Dark Statue Demon
Elite & Boss: Abysm Ratman (Elite), Virulent Scorpion (Elite), Dark Statue Demon (Elite) and Gavin, the Abyss Hunter (Boss)
Monsters Info: Active attackers, having different attack modes.
Related Quest: Accept from NPCs in main city or Alaman (Goblin) Tribe
Related Preparation: Prepare potions as many as you can. Be careful not to be cornered.
Suggestion on Level Up: Dynasty and Empire players will encounter each other. They may choose to team up in case of overwhelming dangers.
Lv38-46
Map: Royal Prison*specified for upgrade of players from both Dynasty and Empire. Boss here has a certain probability to drop legendary items.
Monsters: Statuary Ghost, Blood Shadow Ghost, Blue Light Wraith, Flamen Wraith and Prisoned Executioner
Elite and Boss: None
Monsters Info: Active attackers, having multiple attack modes.
Related Quest: None
Related Preparation: Take as many potions as you can!
Suggestion on Level Up: A special map, not open to players from the other country, having very intensive distribution of monsters that asks for area effect skills, a good idea to team up with healing class.
Lv40-46
Map: Spirit Tomb*Dangerous area of Neutral Regions
Monsters: Blood Shadow Ghost, Blue Light Wraith, Flamen Wraith and Graveyard Executioner
Elite & Boss: Bloody Thorn, the Killer (Boss), Blue Light Wraith (Elite), Vampire Executioner (Elite) and Bloody Thorn, the Killer (Boss)
Monsters Info: Active attackers, having multiple attack modes.
Related Quest: Accept from NPCs in main city or Alaman (Goblin) Tribe
Related Preparation: Prepare as many potions as you can. Psych yourself up for PvP.
Suggestion on Level Up: The most dangerous area so far known, attracts many high level players, a place to test your PvP skills. Monsters here are overpowering and can cause great damage. Recommend grouping strategy. Boss is at the innermost of the map. You’d better team up to challenge.
Lv46-50
Map: Golden Plain
Monsters: Hell Destroyer and Hell Burnt
Elite and Boss: Hell Destroyer (Elite) and Hell Burnt (Elite)
Monsters Info: Active attackers, having multiple attack modes.
Related Quest: None
Related Preparation: Prepare abundant advanced potions
Suggestion on Level Up: Potions and teammates are essential. Elites are merciless. High level players can choose to go for a try.
Lv48-55
Map: Sandie King Relic*Newly Opened Advanced Map
Monsters: Sand Thief Puppet, Centaur of the Ruins, Blade Revenant, Relic Hunter and Bloodlust Wraith
Elite and Boss: Relic Hunter (Elite), Bloodlust Evil (Elite) and Sandie King Shadow (Boss)
Monsters Info: Active attackers, having multiple attack modes.
Related Quest: Unavailable for the time being
Related Preparation: Prepare abundant advanced potions, the use of Scroll to City and Mnemonic Symbol will be appreciated
Suggestion on Level Up: Newly opened map, designed for players who have completed 3rd class transfer. Players at Lv48 or so are likely to find it too hard to cope with. Recommend grouping strategy.
Lv55-60
Map: Hero Island*Newly opened UltraAdvanced Map
Monsters: Evil Butcher, Evil Eroder, Soul Archer, Soul Archmage, Brainwash Wraith and Risk Hunter
Elite & Boss: Circular Knife Worm (Elite), Erosion Demon (Elite), Shadow of Ymer (Elite) and Bardreis, the Demon Controller (Boss)
Monsters Info: Active attackers, having different attack modes
Related Quest: Refer to Official Website after quests’ open
Related Preparation: It is a must to bring abundant advanced potions, the use of Mnemonic Symbols will be appreciated, recommend superior potions from MWO mall.
Suggestion on Level Up: Newly opened map for high level players having completed 3rd class transfer to find treasure items. Team up to survive the map.
Lv45-55
Map: Dreamland*Newly opened Quest-targeted Simple Map
Monsters: Nightmare, Soul Devourer and Nightmare
Elite and Boss: None
Monsters Info: Active attackers, mostly dealing physical attack.
Related Quest: Dreamland Quest
Related Preparation: Prepare some potions and find a suitable teammate, not that difficult to get through
Suggestion on Level Up: Quest instance for a small team. Monsters here are not that strong, can be tempted to flock within the attack range of area effect skill, good place for upgrade.
